I have the same problem! I usually draw female characters and I should really exercise drawing men.

Aha, that is my opinion too! Mostly, if I wanna express something elegant, or sorrow, or joy, the female body is just more appropraite!

I think you did a great job on colouring, anatomy and his face! Gorgeous. The only thing that baffles me is how he can hold his hand in such manner? Wouldn't the hilt of the sword be an obstruction? That's just a small observation - I really like the picture in general a lot!
