Description "Why?" -a dying Obergruppenfuhrer
"It was you the whole time? I trusted you!" -Soviet agent, prior to being shot in the face
"I owe her everything." -Fantasma

CODE NAME: Light Thief / Ladra de Luz (LAH-druh je looz)
REAL NAME: Ana Luisa de Souza Soares (UH-nah loo-EEZ-ah jee SO-za so-AR-ehz)
HEIGHT: 5'7" (170.18 cm)
AFFILIATION: None
WORK STATUS: Missing in action - previously a full-time superheroine/spy and wealthy socialite

POWERS/SKILLS: Skilled martial artist, spy, and assassin. Suit has limited cloaking technology, allowing her to more easily blend in with her surroundings.
WEAKNESSES: Her suit gets hot when she uses its cloaking technology. She can work with it comfortably in dark areas for quite a while, but the more light the suit has to deal with, the quicker it heats up, and it can soon prove unbearable for Ana. Beyond that, she's a normal human being.

BACKGROUND: (NOTE: Very work-in-progress) Born to a wealthy family in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Ana lived an idyllic life until escaped Nazis murdered someone close to her. Unable to find justice through legal means, she hunted down those who had wronged her and killed them, uncovering a larger conspiracy in the process. Realizing that matters were bigger than she had realized, she dedicated herself to hunting down any criminal conspiracies that threatened innocents' freedom. Escaped Nazis, Soviet saboteurs, drug lords, and military dictators soon found themselves with someone else to worry about.
Light Thief been missing in action for at least a decade.
PERSONALITY: Ana is a conflicted individual. She's a skilled infiltrator, and plenty of men and women have thought her their best friend, confidante, and even lover up to the moment she ended their life. As such, Ana herself has become rather detached with people. She's also lost friends and loved ones, and tries to spare herself that pain again by keeping distant.Β
At the same time, she has pity, and will do whatever she can to rescue innocent people. She's even taken pity on some of her targets, finding them to simply be misguided youths rather than true believers in their causes.

RANDOM TIDBITS
-She bleaches her hair.
-Rescued a young Fantasma and her brother from their father's experiments.
-I previously thought her Portuguese name was "LadrΓ£" instead of "Ladra." Google showed me I was wrong.

Once again, I will never get used to that 'd' = 'j' thing

That first image is really cool, I like how the lighting allows the outlines of her lips to be seen. Nice to know more about her abilities and her background. So many characetrs have no-killing rules it's intersting to find one who has no issues with permanently removing the odd baddie. And I approve of her equal-opportunities approach to Nazis and Soviets

I haven't gotten into it much, but I figure my characters have variations on the no-killing rule. For the most part they avoid it unless there aren't any alternatives, but some aren't so picky. Light Thief has an old pulp and James Bond flair to her, so killing felt natural for her.

And I'm not surprised a Pole would approve of taking out both Nazis and Soviets.

When she takes off her mask and hook it's as if a light has been turned on.
Light, get it?

She and Bombshell would have so much to talk about regarding hair care tips and tricks I feel. Haha!

Very cool character idea and design.

Sometimes I think all lovely superheroines have at least one superpower, which is jokingly called, by heroes and normals alike, Vidal Sassoon hair.

I hope we'll learn more about Light Thief and what happened to her. Part of me is imagining she's in deep cover somewhere, trying to find one of history's worst war criminals who has gone into hiding to evade justice and to plan his most nefarious plot.

Assume that all my heroines have the following powers:
-Perfect hair no matter what it goes through
-Ability to have large boobs without back trouble
-Ability to wear high heels while they do their jobs

Something they share in common with ladies like Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Zatanna ...
