Description
A picture of Marvel comics' Storm. As seen in the 80's X-men comics.This was drawn in 4b pencil, and colored with Photoshop 7.
The cards where added in with Photoshop.
I made this for a contest at the penciljack.com forum.
The task was to make a X-men team upto 4 charcters.
I couldnt really think of a team that would work well with one another. All the charcters I would have choosen where fighters.
So I decided to try and choose charcters that I didnt think anyone else would use. Also charcters that I had not recently or ever drawn.
Since my compostion skills reek I decided to draw all of the characters seprate, and composite all of them in one picture once all of them where colored.
For the longest time I didnt like this Storm. Then all of a sudden last year I liked it. Must be the resurgence of all this Punker stuff. I've been wanting to draw her like this for a long time. Since this chance showed it's self I took it.
In the final compostion I added lighting coming to her hand...Or coming from it?
Whatever...

I know they are making a 2-D fighter, but this is the first I've heard of it being a Devil Kings game.

It 's looking kind of like Guilty Gear X's style. It must be the Hi-resolution.
I'm sure the frame rate will make Guilty Gear X look bad.

Yeah I did notice that last night at the Japan site.
It does look a lot like Guilty Gear.
I just assume that since Street Fighter III has such smooth animation this game should too.

You did a great job on this version of Ororo. She has that Paul Smith-era physique and everything. For a design that you just recently started to like, you really did that justice.

Yeah, girl with mo-hawks just didn’t do it for me when I was younger.
When I figured out that her hair really would still be able to move it didn’t bother me as much it use to.
I think she looks kind of cool like this.
I suppose I'm just getting nostalgic, or my taste in girl is changing.
