There's an old saying, that the female is the deadlier of the species, and that they shouldn't be underestimated, and in the case of The DC Unlimited, that case has never been more true than on Apokolips. One of Darkseid's many attributes is the his knowledge and never underestimates his warriors, regardless of gender. Case in point, with the Female Furies. Lead by Darkseid's head commander Granny Goodness, these warriors were raised in the hellish orphanage trained to fight for their lord and master, without question or mercy.

Lashina: The defacto leader of the Furies, Lashina is beauty and deadly. Like many of the Furies, she was raised in Granny's Orphanage and trained at a young age to fight for Lord Darkseid. Her mastery of the steel band whip is what makes her an expert of long distance attacks. Her greatest attribute is both her beauty and flirtatious nature. This aspect of her personality masks her cunning and deadliness, making her the defacto leader of the furies.

Mad Harriet: The unstable member of the Furies, Mad Harriet is one of Granny's most intensive members of the furies. Her unstable nature makes her unpredictable in battle. Armed with energy claws that cut through anything. Her twisted smile and morbid sense of humor hides a sinister hatred for all, and channels it for the glory of her lord and master Darkseid.

Bernadeth: Sister to Darkseid's chief scientist and torturer Desaad, Bernadeth is just as ruthless and morbid as her brother, but with the difference in having restraint. Constantly pessimistic and gruesome on the battlefield, Bernadeth is a Female Fury with the knowledge that Desaad has taught her. Armed with flaming blade at her disposal, Bernadeth greatest knowledge is the ability to interrogate on the battlefield and extract information without failure. Her nihilism gives her a view of the cosmos that benefits Darkseid Greatly.

The Female Furies are bound together by Darkseid and Granny Goodness, their loyalty is both to Apokolips and each other. They may constantly fight amongst themselves and even usurp one another for leadership, but at the end of the day it is their loyalty to Darkseid, and their mutual hatred for the one who has abandoned them: Big Barda
