Reminds me of the cover of a romance novel. But in a good way, in a very good way!

Hi Chris – well, I used Gouache in my early days cause of the same reason I now use digital – it is a fast medium! It dries immediately and I think it is easy to use, you can use it like watercolors or you can use it opaque. Well it is not as brilliant as Oils of example, but as said it dries at the moment, so you don’t loose time when it comes to deadlines. Think that was the main reason I choose gouache as my main medium in my early days as illustrator where I could only dream of the possibilities of the digital medium that the computers offer us today. But sometimes I really, really miss working with real color – but oh well….

Interesting Leda/Zeus reference there, did you intend that ... ? *quirks eyebrow*
An excellently-done painting -- you control over color, light, and shadow is truly amazing. The softness of the shapes is quite nice; an interesting departure from the often blocky, color-by-numbers result one gets from paint. I like the detail of the shadows on the woman's back - the rib-shadows make her look REAL. And, as a side note, I like the stockings.
*grins*
I like!

Ah, reference to a Greek myth - Leda was seduced by Zeus, king of the gods, who seduced Leda by coming to her in the form of a swan. (Try not to think too much about the logistics of that ... >.< ) The product of this union was, as it happens, Helen of Troy. And we all know how THAT turned out ...
So yes.

Yeah I saw it, just was at your deviant site – cool banners btw. ---
About that commenting thing, I really love to receive all those fantastic comments to my work and it really makes me feel good, but if I don’t have time to answer all those nice people I somehow feel bad, cause if someone takes his/her time to view and comment my work I should at least take the time to say thanks, but (and that’s not just said) my time is really very limited, so I don’t find the time to answer all the comments…
So again thanks so much for your support!
