Description
The MinuteTitan's name being a reference to the "minutemen" of ancient earth history. Its chassis is based on a common cheap working mech used by the colonists of the frontier (equivalent to weight and size of an atlas titan). The upgrades improved the armor and gave it an armament.

Its main weapon is one of 3 mass produced titan weapons (40mm canon, chaingun, quad rocket). its secondary weapon is a back mounted 50cal shield splitter HMG (with a very simple control system a driver cant control the back gun, it has to be manned from a gunners perch to be fired).

The minute titan was intended to be a cheap titan intended to be used to help combat the massed drone warfare the IMC was besieging the militia with. They proved to be useful in packs of 3 or more when combating the numerous new IMC reserve titans.

To keep cost down, the only shielding the MinuteTitan has is on the cockpit. this did help increase the survivability of their drivers, who are often scouted to become pilots. while this was better durability then the Skirmisher Mark I and II, they lacked the same mobility.

while the skirmishers have jump capabilities, the MinuteTitan lacks any thrusters (a limitation forced by using only 2 fusion cores to make it cheaper to produce).

The lack of mobility limits the speed and deploy-ability of the MinuteTitan. Without retro jets and advanced shock absorbers it had to be brought to the battlefield by modified goblin drop-ships (originally used to salvage titans from the battlefield). With its limited speed the minute titan was found to be indispensable for supporting militia troops. A MinuteTitan is equipped with supplies and ammunition to supply both soldiers and pilots on the field. The large mass produced titans stomping along with infantry can attract enemy fire while the troops take objectives.

Despite its uses against massed drones and reserve titans, the MinuteTitan has a very glaring weakness against pilots and any titans more advanced then 2nd gen. The minute titan is considered a 1st gen titan, lacking any advanced tech or abilities used by its more sophisticated and expensive cousins.

-due to their lack of being "dropped" into battle, MinuteTitans often come onto the battlefield around the same time as reapers are deployed.
-whenever a MinuteTitan is deployed it becomes a rallying point for orbitaly dropped troops.
-when troops and pilots are nearby a MinuteTitan at ground level they benefit from "amped weapons".
-the gunner of the 50 call back turret is easy to take out, but after a while a new trooper nearby can climb aboard and man the turret. At any time a friendly pilot can use the gun.
-on occasions pilots have been able to pilot the minute titan (using specific pilot abilities, a limitation based on the fact that the minute titan uses a primitive control system that newer pilots need proper software to just use these things effectively)(an enemy pilot with proper ability and the use of hack knife can commandeer the MinuteTitan).
