i still like this beautiful piece very very much! i love it!
i've had many discussions with a friend of mine about this piece, because the colours give him a cold feeling and he doesn't like it because of that. So, we had a discussion about assosiation and syneasthesy. Our feelings with this painting are so different. An interesting point. He said that this is an litotes, and that the colour gives him a bad feeling. And i think that this is just perfect....and i don't know why i'm telling you this, it's just so interesting: what colours can do...
haha...it makes me happy, this piece.

amazing and serene atmosphere you captured here..
right from the colors, to the look on her face of total contentment..
music is so powerful, and can really impact us in so many ways..
change our moods, compliment them..it can make us wonder and dream
and imagine things like nothing else..
i love how she seems a little bit brighter than everything esle..
almost as if the moon is shining directly onto her..and only on her..
as if she own the night..she owns that moment..
being content with everything, even though things may not all be perfect..
for those moments, those precious city moments..nothing else matters..
i can relate to this feeling so well, and its one of the best feelings
in the world..and i think you did an amazing job portraying that.

ive thought about walking like that alot. new york is a very cool place at night, not sure if that's the city your talking about, but at night things come alive and you can see normal things you've never seen before. very cool way to focus on the world with a beat.

Nope, doesn't get much better than this. I love the greens, gives it a very street-light feel. The framing is wonderful, the backgrounds are interesting and compliment the subject. Great stuff, here.
