One of my favorites. As a piano player myself, I can sympathize with this emotion. The lighting and expression is very intriguing. I never get bored looking at this one.

I find it strange you haven't put this work up for sale on your prints page.
I find this is one of the strongest, most balanced pieces in your gallery. A very distinctive ambience positively exudes from the composition, emerging as a well toned, highly aesthetic and dramatic work.
From the blue hues to the fish-eye effect on the keyboard, this painting simply screams balance and purpose, while some of your other works look like straight copies of a photo (only a few, mind you).
Definately one of your best.

o, anyways, i really like how you did the kid - the expression in his face, the lonley background. and i like the way the keys are done- slanting down with the shadow on them, looking bigger that usual i think. great work

yup Daniel Smith acrylics.
Soft edge. I work on edges a lot, I am always unsatisfied heheh. I try not to water down the paints too much when i am working with edge issues. that helps.
