i can tell a lot of thinking went into the layout of this. the gaschstalt of the dress fits so well into the painting and is delightfully accented by by the green hues. the flowers on the ground almost remind me of monet's style of painting, but a little more sharp. the entire series is astounding, but this one stands out to me the most, because of the unique radial orientation that come rare to paintings, especially in figure pieces. very cool piece. very nicely composed.

I like the pose, the angle, the concept.
I find it a bit awkward that there are no shadows, save the green of the front of her dress, though the green around her neckline makes it look like that could be an aspect of the dress rather than shadow. Would this image be improved with shadows? Not sure. ...It could have given definition to the legs, which are missing here, producing something of an illusion... she could be rising up out of a pool of white, as much as a dress.
I also wonder if less hair would have improved the top of the image.
And perhaps the magenta of the skin is a bit intense. ...Could be the photo.
I love the background, though. ...You're a master of backgrounds.

hey, very nice!
i dont particulary like the "comiclike" style in some of your paintings, especially whn it comes to dynamic shapes and movement, but hell, you really kick butt when it comes to calm shapes and comp. I really love the colors on the dress of the girl, reminded me heavily of Manet - must have gone a long road to have an eye for this kind of subtle patterns.
