I've always wondered what that was for - a bit gross, which is cool.

I know a lot of RPG's like the vignette look for layout purposes, but when I see something like this with dramatic light I really wish there was a background or darker color behind him to bring out that drama. The lightning would be so much more effective if it was the brightest thing in the image, but it has to compete with the white of the page. Maybe just for your own display purposes you might try it. Regardless, it's quite nice!
