The face reminds me of a toad, this is fantastic, I love what you saw in the gorons. My interpretation is so much different in my head.

These... look like they're in a cave with a lot of water in them. :/ I always pictured Gorons as more... deserty rocky looking, especially since they live in such warm environment.

I really love to see the more refined and more realized ideas of the Legend of Zelda characters. Nintendo needs to get on board with this style and do the characters a little less cartoony. Great great job!

This is...well, I both like and dislike it. Any way you slice it, it's a damn fine concept, and the creature you've created here is compelling, and I can totally see a lot of Goron-like qualities in it...it looks like an earthy creature, it does have at least some of the rockiness (I can't say for sure, but I imagine it's back, like Nintendo's Gorons probably features a bit more), broad and muscular build...all very well painted.
I would say that your Goron seems a bit more...reptilian or amphibian than I always pictured them. More like a turtle or a frog than the sort of ape-like men (albeit with turtle-like shells) as which I've always pictured them. Obviously, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's something of which you should be aware as the artist.
In any case, it's a really cool design. Faved!
