Master Chief, just after kicking some major butt. Went for an unusual dual-wield combo of Plasma Rifle and Magnum... since everyone under the sun insists on drawing him with the classic dual SMG's....Acrylic painting. 12"x16" illustration board.

Scanners never do justice. Very cool though, Master Chief looks good painted.

wow thats really good! personally i think a noobtacular combo is the SMG plasma rifle combo or the BR/Carbine + Plasma pistol but thats not a duel weild so it doesnt matter haha

since the new updates I find anything plasma works harder and the magnums work great with the SMG or the Plasma....awesome work

This is very good, I think. I don't know how people like you can blend and make such fine lines in paint. I always find myself messing up and destroying the perfect colors I had before ;_;. The only thing I think I would have done differently, would to make the magnum a shade or two lighter or darker, right now it just blends to easily woth the hand, making it harder to distinguish where it starts and stops. Out of curiosity, have you worked with oil paints?

Wow. Awsome job. Only thing that bugs me is the way the Magnum looks. It looks....shortened? Just looks a little small, but that does not take away from this picture at all. I like the way you've got John standing there like he saying "I just pwned j00 all!", lol. The colours are great. I also like how you did his visor. If the scan took away from this painting then I'd love to see the thing in real life. I like the use of the Covenant blood on the Ghost. Awsome job. +fav

It involves halo, so naturally I love it. Plus I love the fact that he has a plasma rifle. Shows that hes so elite he can even own with those dumb things.

Haven't played Halo, but man that is one kickass piece of fanart. The details are fantastic and the lighting beings out this mood of revenge and dispair.
