Description This is Mapleshade of ThunderClan.

And we save the best for last, in my opinion. I am /ridiculously/ proud of this pose, and this pattern. I found this picture of a kitten rearing up online, and tried to make a similar pose. It took forever to get right, but I am so happy with how it turned out. She looks as big and her pelt is as thick and ragged as I wanted as well.

I tried to make her primarily ginger, as per her wiki description, and I think I succeeded. I'm really happy with how the ginger tabby patches mesh with the black and white patches. And I dunno why, but I feel like those two black patches on her face really fit her.

Maybe I'll draw her kits as well some time.

I like Clear Sky and Tigerstar the best as villains, but she's pretty cool too. ^^

She is so triumphant-looking...which is good.

She reminds me of Macavity...but I feel so bad for her. She didn't deserve to suffer what she did. But I wanted more blood to be spilled by her. I pictured her as being a cat who will go after every cat who betrayed her...including taking one of Birchstar and Oakstar's lives.

But I am a proud shipper of MACAVITY x MAPLESHADE share the insane love.

Ooo, yes, perfect comparison. XD They both have the crazy-looking, reddish multi-colored pelt as well. I love it! And yes, I wanted her to kill more cats as well.

I would work a little bit with the back legs, they seem to be off, but i don't quite know why, it's confusing
Sorry, i know that just saying "it's off'' won't help you, but i couldn't help but point it out

It seems like she is standing In a human way, the legs are too straight for a cat's?
Can't tell

However, you did a really good job with her fur and colors. I adore how you do tabby patterns, they look so smooth and natural ;u;

Definitely love the pose. In a way it almost looks like she's waving. In all seriousness, it's a very nice pose and a different one to the others you do. The ears being more flattened is nice as well. The colours blend very well. Great anatomy as always, and the fur looks fantastic. Keep up the fantastic work, Jayie!

Thanks. I'm so freaking proud of that pose. Mostly, I don't do more dynamic poses like this for my reference sheets because it makes it harder to see the pattern, but this one was for the April Fool's prank on BC so I decided to make it more dynamic.
