Description Title: 2nd Generation
Original Post Date: 3.05.2008

The Story:
The 2nd to be called "The Star Spangled Kid," she is better known as "Stargirl."

My Take:
…it’s late, and I’m a little too tired to finish…I’ll finish the story soon.

What I Like Most:
I really like how this pose came out, I got it from Soul Calibur, one of Seung Mina’s victory poses.

What I Dislike Most:
I really couldn’t come up with a decent background here…lately I’ve really had a hard time coming up with backgrounds for anything. Hopefully that will pass soon enough. Also she looks a little older than I intended for her to look, which can be a positive…for later, but it’s not really doing any good for me here.

Final Thoughts:
For those of you that are new to my drawings, I use a different style than you are used to. I have nothing against the original style, but I’m not going to try to be someone that I’m not. I want to have a style of my own.

wonderful design! I like that you are trying to strike out on your own as an artist, as opposed to being a mindless clone of someone else's design philosphophies.

To me, art is about expression, so creating a visual concept that is unique and significant is staying true to the root's of artistic expresson!

If it is at all possible, could you create a piece that showcases all of stargirl, not just her torso? it would be nice to see your visual style in it's full glory with a head-to-toe view!

Thanks, FieldCommanderKurt signing out...
