The Story:
Gargoyles was probably my favorite Disney creation of all time. Elisa Maza happened to be one of my favorite characters on that show. I just had to give her a try sooner or later. If I’m not mistaken, the Bonkers show also ran that year…I haven’t seen too much of that, but I did want to give Miranda (to your left) a shot as well.

My Take:
This whole idea was actually inspired by an episode of “Cops,” their theme was female officers (which was also where I got the title). Now that I look back on this, I probably could have included Renee Montoya of Batman here too, but it’s a little too late for that now.

What I Like Most:
I think the poses came out nicely, I probably could have spaced them out a little better, but it’s not like it came out terribly or anything. I like how their faces came out too, Elisa’s is a little off, but nothing for me to get stressed out over.

What I Dislike Most:
I really couldn’t think of a decent background with this one (as is the case most of the time), eventually the ol’ red, white, and blue saved me from having no background at all. Of course there’s the issue with Elisa’s left hand…I tried hiding it, so I wouldn’t have to put that much effort into it, but I couldn’t get it to my liking even then.

Final Thoughts:
It’s always nice to step away from my regular drawings every once in a while to do something a little different. I still managed to maintain my usual style, which is something I like to do, if it’s not to your liking you don’t have to look, it’s not like I have a gun to your head or anything right?
