I'm feeling a little "beachy" today so I'm gonna submit another beach shot. Taken at South Padre Island, TX. This one is without people so let me know what you think. I did a slight crop and I had to straighten it out a bit. Other than that, no further edits. Yeah, I know the sun isn't centered. I did it on purpose. Hope you like it. Let me know.Related content

Well if advanced critique is encouraged i must say i would like the sun to be in the middle much more. I know you did it on purpose but it's pretty annoying to the eye, besides that it lacks a little sharpness. But besides those two tiny little things, it's a great capture really

I really, really like it. I love how the sun looks like it's melting and going to dissolve into the ocean. On a personal note, I prefer these types of shots without people in them. Love it!

i've always thought that too! but it seems everyone likes the ones with people in them. i remember seeing a photo of an amazing sunset once and i was so mad to see a person in the frame. it wasn't done in a smooth classy way and it really ruined the photo. i didn't say anything cuz there really is no nice way to say that. lol. and thanks for the

Brilliant capture hun, i love how you have the gold so perfect and how it seems to melt into the sea.
I like how it is off center because it gives the viewer the perspective of looking past it and out to sea.

The sun looked to be about on a 1/3 line in the image. It's cool that you didn't center it in the frame.
Photography isn't necessarily about following a bunch of set rules but to break the rules and apply your own imagination & skills to create an image that YOU love.
