I know this joke has been done before, but this is what came to mind when I first saw “The Stare Master” in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and I wanted to do more fanart involving One Piece. I also wanted to try drawing this in the black-and-white manga style. If this were a One Piece episode, I would call it, "Jukutatsu no Doubutsu: Gyoushi tai Haoshoku no Haki" (translating to "Mastery of Animals: The Stare vs. Haoshoku Haki").
For those of you who don't know what Haoshoku Haki is, it's an ability in One Piece that only one in a million can be born with. It can be used to intimidate someone or knock out those who have weak wills. Luffy has used it to tame animals and knock out armies.
