I have to admit, I've become very protective of Hayley in recent years. She's not exactly a butt-monkey like Meg, but since "American Dad" has such an anything-goes atmosphere, a lot of crap seems to happen to her anyway. She's been attacked by a shark, drunk herself into kidney failure, and inadvertently adopted the Antichrist. Poor girl just can't catch a break. So I felt she deserved a chance to just get out and enjoy nature for a change. A rare moment of serenity for everyone's favorite outspoken granola girl.

American Dad is essentially "The Stan and Roger Show" these days, so it's nice to see you give Hayley Dreamsmasher Smith some love (since Seth won't).

I agree. "The Stan and Roger Show" is un-watchable. They aren't the only main antagonists, Seth and the writers are. I'm surprised Rachel is still working for the show. I guess she's okay with the fact that her brother is constantly hurting her character on the show and does not want to quit working with him.
