My rendition of Frisket17's Lady Sutra character. She's a wonderful character, a strong female which I have realised my gallery is very male dominated (mainly due to my pathetic abilities in drawing female types). I really am enjoying this image as it combines a bit of traditional Japanese with a modern feel with the dress and those tails were so much fun to draw up!This image is not yet completed. It still requires a bit more rendering and detailing on the dress, face and fur, a lovely background feature and a bit more personality to the entire thing. Unfortunately I'm dead tired and this is all I can bring myself to do this night...I have to be up for uni in about five hours.
As this is a Work in Progress...maybe save comments for when it's done, but I'll update the image on this entry so look out for it's completion shortly.

Thanks! She's probably a bit more girly that I imagined when I started but I wanted her to exude 'don't mess with me boy'. I'm glad you think she's baddass!

Oh and sure you can use the dress design!! I'm so flattered! I'm such a sucker for long sleeves with bare shoulders. I've always liked designing costumes for some reason...I think its the theatricalness of them...the more detailed the better!
