This is my new drawing of a Vampire Tree, based upon the 1980 original from the Melnibonean chapter of Deities and Demigods for AD&D (TSR Hobbies, 1980 edition).---

I love AD&D as much as the next guy, but you've got to admit some of the monsters were absolutely stupid. Great drawing Jeff; big fan of your appearances on AE and now, of your art.

You can't really blame D&D for this one - it's right out of Michael Moorcock's Elric novels
