Collaboration with glass artist Randy Strong. About 45" tall
This new form has become one of my personal favorites of Jeff's works. So far this piece has had tremendous success in Pennsylvania and Baltimore shows.

45 tall! That's huge! I can only image it's presence in person. It must really take over a rom (in a good way). This is beautiful and I love seeing the collaboration of my two favorite mediums. I love the form too.

Oh yes it has quite a dominating presence. The glass piece was at Jeff's studio for quite some time until he came up with the right form that would work well with it. The result was astonishing imho.

He must have a monster of a kiln. I'm starting to outgrow mine... man they get expensive once you get past the size I have! I've been pricing today. Ouch!

Love how the glass takes up the nervous linear texture of your ceramic surface. The shapes nestle into one another beautifully!

I mean this in the most flattering and positive way, but I keep seeing a lot of representation of the female form in here and a few other pieces(I think). As a huge lover of women, I see nothing wrong with this and hope you take it as such.

I suppose there is truth to that. Jeff's work has a very sensual side to it, and the media and finish are certainly very appropriate.
