Actually, some of the monsters which Ultraman defeated seemed to have some traits &/or abilities(like regeneration or durability) similar to that of Godzilla &(while the rest of them) could also even survive some hits from the standard finisher beams used by Ultraman's raceΒ which shows that there must to be proof that Ultraman could literally defeat/kill the likes of Godzilla.

Also, energy blades like the ultra-slash could slice through even some kaijus which survive being hit by finisher beams like the Specium ray so that will do the same to the likes of Godzilla but i doubt Spacegodzilla may have some of the abilities (like telekinesis) to counter this.

One more thing, if Ultraman is about to kill/defeat Godzilla, (i expect/guess) he'd spare, pacify &/or even tame/appease any version/type ofΒ Godzilla except the GMK one, SpaceGodzilla or maybe even Shin Godzilla(as for Shin Godzilla, Ultraman would also have trap/imprison him somewhere instead) as the rest of the versions of Godzilla may seem innocent and originally misunderstood.

The big question is, "Can Ultraman cause enough damage to Godzilla to kill the King of the Monsters, within the time limit imposed upon him?" If not, Godzilla's regeneration abilities will keep him in the fight- or get him back into the fight, if he's knocked out- until Ultraman runs out of energy, and then it's "Good night, Ultraman." I saw very little of the 'Ultraman' series, but from what I read in Wikipedia, the time limit does not apply if Ultraman is out of Earth's atmosphere, so I have to ask if Ultraman is strong enough (and SMART enough) to lift Godzilla out of Earth's atmosphere, and if so, is he fast enough to complete this task within the time limit?

I think the best fight for Godzilla would have to be him vs. Gamera. There have been debates about them. Ultraman is great, but he's not even in Godzilla's league. I think Ultraman vs. Jet Jaguar [link] or the Megazord [link] would be better
