Here are the final pencils for the Oz-Stravaganza Cover for Big Dog Ink's Legend of Oz: The Wicked West.I loved this cover. I just love it, in fact I have it hanging on my wall I love it so much. I don't normally DO that.
This one was a blast to do and once I hit the idea it just WORKED!
Y'all the colors on this are awesome too. Just wait it will stick out like a for thumb in the best way on the shelf.

Just a question: Β Was there a comic published exactly like this art? Β The reason I ask is that the comic I got from Aspen has different information in the bottom banner.

Small world. Grew up in Birmingham, lived in Tuscaloosa through school. Finally left after I met my wife 5 years ago. I still say it myself - it's a bit of a giveaway.

I did and then I went back into Photoshop to help straighten out my lines. I used a ruler but even so it needed some sharpening.
I was literally going cross-eyed I hate lettering, I'm not good at it!

Actually this one is on it's second trade volume so yeah it's been out longer. The are coming out with Oz 2 years AFTER this Oz.

Normally I despise all things Oz just because that's my opinion but I believe this is definitely a creative concept and the drawing is good too
