Description For the record this wasn't shot with my new camera, this is way old...

Back in mid Feb I was shooting at the school swimming carnival just for the sake of it, and my mate Dale, awesome swimmer (I have an old pic of him in my scraps somewhere) , jumped into the pool and did some fly for me so I could get some shots without people in the way..

His mum has the colour version of his hanging in their house, she is quite the photog herself.

I found this and re-edited it to b&w.

PS here is another shot in colour.. I Photoshoped the hand on the left to be a mirror to the one on the right

wow that is perfect, it looks just like a nike ad. The splashes in the back look kinda messed with but who cares its still an awesome photo

haha.. should have the tick down the bottom right with along the bottom in white "nike: Push your limits" or something haha..

yeah well i'm not hiding anything, i post processed the b&w in adobe lightroom and i dropped the brightness of the blue colour (see how the water is fairly dark?) and as a result the white spots appeared where the sunlight was twinkling off the water drops.. so everything else went darker except the highlights..causing that weird look in the splash

well I think artistic nudes is a much neglected category and you will add some pizzaz to it!

well the circle is on his left side and when i photoshopped the arms to be symmetrical i copied the left arm to the right arm side (left of the pic) and so u see it on both arms..

because this was a school swimming carnival he had coloured zinc all over him (you can see it under his eyes in this pic)... i dunno what the circle is saying though
