This shot is wonderful on so many levels. It's color, tone , feel- all are just stunning. Photography that tells a story to me is far better than the crispest technique on a still study. I could interpret this in so many ways, but I feel this is speaking to a desire for a lost innocence. It's just great.

The first thing that I notice is that the pic is divided into three parts: the amazing stormy sky, the chilling sea and the shore. The contrast is really great. The reflections on the sand ( ? ) are simply breathtaking!

My go---- you do some incredible work. It's unbelievably moving, actually. The little child walking out to sea (or is he walking back?) and the ominous clouds (that seem to be screaming). it's like everything's a sunset except for the sea.. very very nice shot.

Wow!... yea. Wow! what else can I say?! The feelings that this brings up are so powerful and without a name. I think it could only be described by the music of the Master composers... the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th, for example. or the 2nd movement of his 3rd, maybe. the last part of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker suite. hmmmmm... I'm gonna have to look at this a long time!
