Description "The Empress" is a fabricated sterling & 22k gold heart pendant with a large rare blood-red faceted Mexican fire opal and a faceted deep red chrome pyrope garnet accent. This piece was a custom order.. a gift of love from our client to his future wife. We've done a series of pendants and rings for an opal mining company La Rocka Gem and Mineral,.. they sell exquisite rare Mexican opals.

This is beautiful! The opal stands out magnificently, and the base is a great accent to the stone. This looks like it could have been used in the Lord of the Rings movies...an elven pendant, perhaps. Love it! Faved!
