Description This piece is inspired by "man" and our interaction with the technology we create. The wheel form represents technology while the figure within the wheel represents human kind. Together they symbolize the product of this relationship. The man is armored in and propelling himself by means of technology, however, how we use or "Wield" this power, is a treacherous balancing act. Together man and technology can be an advantageous relationship in pursuit of our future, yet failure to control our means of growth responsibly can lead to an accident of our own demise.

Absolutely incredible! The anatomical details on the human figure is fantastic and sleek, and the giant wheel makes the entire piece very dynamic and atmospheric. I'm also intrigued by how your work raises the question which is ultimately influencing which between humanity and technology - is the man working the wheel or the wheel putting man into motion. Truly splendid.

The wheel he runs in is 5 feet in diameter if that helps.

This is possibly the most life-like sculpture I have ever seen. Thank you so much for this wonderous gift of art. Please indulge me on the programs used to model and render this amazing being. My curiousity strangles me. Once again - amazing work

Thank you so very much! Β The program is just blood sweat and tears, it's madeΒ the old-fashioned way by hammer and anvil, made out of steel.

The movement in this is spectacular! Is this steel or aluminum? I love twoknowone's idea. Maybe an animator here on deviant art could do that for you. It would be a fabulous promotion for your work too. Love your knowledge of the body and the muscular system. Exceptional work!

Thank you kindly, it's made of steel, and I love your idea of animating it, would really great to see it come alive! In fact my brother is a computer animator for Disney, may he could take it on as a pet project some day. Thank for planting a thought seed.

There is an elegance that can only be shown if this was put into motion! ( hint...hint). Just Outstanding work! Oh if you could pull back with the camera to get more into the frame! But still... simply beautiful!

Oh yes you do! I looked at them all but still have this burning desire to see this image slowly from a greater distance come toward me with the outer rim moving faster than what the image is advancing forward until just a head shot at the same angle it is now fills the image. Can even hear the soundtrack!!
