Portrait photography is a wonderful way to capture one's personality, and you've done it beautifully throughout your gallery. This picture exudes a lot of confidence, particularly with the model's expression and assertive pose. From a technical standpoint, though, I feel that this picture could use some work. You have a lot of wonderful experience capturing facial closeups or what some may call the "top third" of your models in many of your photos. Normally, cutting off a part of a person's face can be very effective at times to enhance composition in these instances. This photo, however, is quite different in that it captures more - and cutting off part of the model's forehead does look a bit odd, especially when there's more to see, and the focal point of the photo is still her face. Some photographers do cut, but this generally works more in shots where the model's face fills the frame, and the eyes need to be on a third (your ID picture is a great example). But this is just a minor caveat. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />
The rest of the photo is fantastic - the focus is sharp, the colors are neutral and unintrusive, and the model's outfit looks superb. It may not be the most original photo in your gallery, but it's still a nice, clean portrait in a beautifully peaceful setting. Great job, Jessica!
