What I do when I decide I want to draw feathers and everything I'm SUPPOSED to be drawing can sit in time out for a while.Done in colored pencils and watercolor.
That's right. I brought my colored pencils back. Happy now? *grumbles cause m'hands hurt*
EDIT: WTF da? I did NOT put this in the anthro section and it is SO not anthro!!

The colored pencils are prismacolor, ahhh... the watercolors are kind of whatever I happen to pick up. I've got a huge ceramic box FULL of nothing but random watercolors.

ahh that would be great! i want so many water colors.... Hmm hmm im not that great at painting, the last time i had to take some sharpies to them to make them look better o,O
Hmm all ive got is the drug store's or dollar store's paints...

ah I'm the wrong person to ask for tips for watercolors. I'm just starting out myself. Just play with them and see what they do.

Amazing details on the feathers! I like the feathers spread out like a fan on the tail, it makes it more areodynamic and eye-catching along with the gliding pose. Really nice.
