Okay Now I want to see what led up to this ..... great work with making it look like its been setting on some deserted beach for decades.
And the clouds... those are great clouds.

Hayao Miyazaki would love you for this. Β The lore that could be imagined for this picture is fantastic.

This entire scene is so breath taking. From the volcano in the back to the crew escaping on a seaplane-turned-sailing ship!

reminds me of the movie "Last Flight of Noah's Ark", where a stranded crew converted their crashed B-17 into a boat.

Thanks for the lead - I've checked it out! It's pretty standard Disney fare but I liked the addition of Japanese holdouts, and you've got to admire a crew who can turn a bomber into a boat - using a Short Sunderland seems a tad conservative!

The resourcefulness of the crew here is something to be admired! Especially during an incident of desperation.Β

Thanks! Right with you on Waterworld - I'm not the biggest Costner fan but that flick had some well-staged action scenes and a grungy hand-made look that suits the genre very well. I'll be posting more like this.

Abney Park started as a Goth band, discovered Steampunk, and never looked back.
At some point, the frontman realized he was writing a story (and some of the Goth songs was part of it), and started writing some books and contracted out a RPG based on their work. Β And apparently a graphic novel. Β Going to have to make a new order to them.
Took me awhile, but I remembered which song this reminded me of. Β Wrath of Fate: Β youtu.be/gV04z6h166Q
