I just love this piece. It looks just like an illustration that you might find in an old children's book. How did you do that texture?

thanks, textures are quite easy to find on the internet. In this case the texture consisted of a really rough, beige paper. You can see the folds on the top. When placed on the image on Photoshop you can adjust the image's color and such, but I mostly stick to adjusting the texture's opacity over the art.
