Simple!
So the piece is actually two horizontal sheets of (computer-sized) paper taped together. I drew the details straight across them with a pencil. That's why the details look small because it was really a big piece. Once I scanned it I increased the contrast to see the details better, that's why the penciled lines look like they were made with pen ^^
After that I just used the simple paper texture over it on Photoshop and then lightly colored some areas.
The best advice I can give you is work with big pieces! Not every inch has to be drawn on, but use up a large space!

this is wonderful it gives me a fuzzy feeling inside, like some childhood memory tht i can't really remember.
absolutely beautiful colours, and the softness gives it a real old feeling to it x3

When I first saw this I thought it was like an Alice in Wonderland take on the Last Supper. lol But it's really beautiful.

yea, many people are saying that too! I never fully realized the Last Supperness of it until people pointing it out and made awesome references to the Da vinci version and this one. My goodness my subconscious is really off, lol.
thanks!

This is really lovely! Of course as everyone has been saying, great colors. I really like the interaction you have happening between the characters. What did you use to color this?
