Media: plaster, steel, and polyurethane foam.

We created this piece to talk about the relationship between art of the antiquity and contemporary. Symbiotic? Parasitic? Whatever, you decide.

The body was caste with two part polyurethane foam then finished with spackle and texture paint. The dress was done with plaster. The steel structures were welded from mild carbon steel then torch rusted with a salt and vinegar solution for three days.
