Fourth sword in the collection. I think I'm getting better and better at this. The habaki actually detaches this time. In any case I made this to go with my friend's dress for AWA 15. You probably saw this Friday if you saw it at all. I love the falling cherry blossoms on this one. I even put some crystals in there. Haha I guess I was really in the mindset that this was a sword made for a girl. The sword's name is Spring Awakening and it's the first to not have a Japanese name (mostly because it's hard for me to try and translate the concept of awakening. I mean it's not like saying spring arrives).Related content

If it really is wood, I can't believe how much it looks like metal... I just thought you bought a blade and made the handle, case, etc.

You've truly outdone yourself on this one, man. I love the concept, and I see that you used bias tape for the handle wrapping. Once again, it was excellent to see more swords and stuff coming from you. It's very beautiful.
