this Matte Painting was goign to be used as a background for a tv comercial , but at the end it wasn't needed , all photo manipulation, and themist and fog is hand painted , I like how it looks with out any kind of human architecture, just as natural as it would beRelated content

hey man, im looking to try matte painting myself, how did you go about creating this? did you sketch it all out first? then find the relevant photo's? how long would something like this take for you to create? how did the images originally look? did you have to change a lot of the lighting, with hue and saturation and so on?

wow this is amazing, it looks just like a photo. i have no idea how you fit 50 photos in this. my only minor gripe is that on the left next to the cliff face, there is an odd line, maybe from the border of one of the photos.

nop it is a composition with more than 50 photos of valleys , mountains, trees ,skies, clouds etc

Looks good, but the hills in the upper left look like the shadow is cast the wrong way.

wow, thats awesome!!! great work putting it together! if you want some critique then read on... if not then umm... dont read it lol. Those sun rays to the left are a bit to liney, but maybe thats the effect you wanted. Also, the fog looks more like smoke, as you don't normally see fog on beautiful sunny days, maybe the clouds could have had a bit more of a softer morning feel to them. But I like how theres no human arcitecture as you said... just nature in its primest ^.^
