Is that crest in the center from anywhere in particular?

There sure are! It feels like a dream, where different imagery and ideas bleed into each other into an indistinct but beautiful whole. It's so mysterious and engaging.

Thanks.

You are on 'the source' with your comment...

I think psychedelic visionary paintings are only the first shaky steps on the use of visual language. A kind of like learning how to embed broad band of symbolic communication into a one still image.

In the future everyone will be 'talking' and 'writing' this way. Human retina is the closest thing to brain to brain broad band communication. To really boost up to the next level we need to learn how to utilize the amazing power of visual mind.

aahh.man, ive got 2000 for things with much less work in them....better to ask a high price... you can always put prices down but ya can't put 'em up...oh no!

You got it all wrong my friend. With demand asking prices of paintings do change, but like in an auction... they always get higher.

Wonderful composition. I love the details and structure. It's quite elegant and ambitious. Dazzling, hypnotic imagery. The intricate style is superb.

since you mention Mona Lisa, I wonder if there's a "da Vinci code" influence in this picture. becasue there's this kind of pagan, triangle- male, female symbols, and there's an All-seeing eye, Illuminati symbol on the triangles, and many places.

She doesn't look so happy, but looks very powerful.. and I see gods hand next to her?

I notice Heironymous Bosch-like images in 2-3 places in the painting.

plenty of imprisoned souls & faces. And I see a kind of neptune; sea god figure holding his hand up in the same pose as in Michelangelos painting. while to the right is another of gods hands which is kind of facing downwards instead of facing upward and is a blue cold hand, unlike the white hand..

It seems like a really religious painting to me, although I'm sure you're not preaching anything..

Will you make a print of this one? let me know if you do... also would you sell the original? how much? Im pretty sure i couldn't afford to buy the original painting unless it's a bargain deal, and I probably would feel like a real fraud if I could buy the painting with what little cash I have

I have to say that I haven't read da Vinci code. But I may have read many of the same sources as the author. And the ultimate source of all mythology, gods and goddesses is inside our heads without any reading. Pyramids are also a marker of ancient cultures, babylonians, aztecs, mayas and egyptians. All seeing eye is a powerful symbol. It's meaning is the observer, the god within.

If I was preaching about something... it is not one religion. I try to use symbols from all religions ancient and present, but also leave hints of evolution and science. The content of the picture is always readable in many ways: For example. Start reading from the bottom right upwards, you can see find out that mushroom can awaken you to god like enlightment from sea of despair. Read the same area differently and you see that the mushroom causes insanity, the grimreaper digging your brain out

One of your best pieces so far. I love the blending/layering, there's just so much detail. The woman at the top looks great, the way she stares at the viewer.

The woman in the top... I wanted to have a Gaian-symbol above everything even the enigmatic Shri Yantra which here can be seen as symbol of the (Gnostic) creator God. Her green colour symbolises Green Tara, But what you can't know is that she looks like my girlfriend (Maria) And to make her look a bit more familiar to everyone I painted her face and eyes in same orientation as Leonardo did in Mona Lisa.
