Description
Commission for ~dhaikage of a weapon for one of his OCs! The blade is black diamond so it's semi transparent and the diamond shape on the scabbard is a cutout for the blue gem. Its name is "Tenebris Operiet" which roughly translates to 'covered in darkness'. Tenebris is the sword, Operiet is the scabbard.---

Aw, sorry, I didn't do a lineart or anything for this one, I just went right from sketch to colored. I do have a tutorial on my painting process, though it's a bit older!

Wow, awesome. I'm no good as it goes to metal/swords/armor(but I have a "training weekend" in plans).
And great diamondlike blade. The first thought in my head was: "Wait a moment is this made of... crystal or something" And actualy it really is!

the firs one is blood, then armor, then weapon. I'll sit all day long, smoke, drink gallons of tea and eat passover bread.
To survive training weekend one needs courage, incredible strength, strong motivation, high endurance and everlasting eyes.
I not sure if I'm going to make through it...

Thanks! It doesn't really look like diamond, more like crystal, but diamond is hard! It has all those facets and reflections and colors in it!

Haha, yeah I'm terrible at naming weapons. They always end up something like "Silverslash, Ebonstrike" etc. lol Yours is much more interesting!
