I miss my dog so much... She's got a wonderfully sweet personality, but then again, it seems like most golden retrievers do :3

Holy geeze that is exquisite work.. I'm too lazy to put such effort into detail. You must have a lot of patience ^__^; lol

wow, the attention to detail is amazing, more than id like to count really.. i know people talk about human expression but this has one all its own
major work on the fur too, you can look and see each individual strand, the way they flow is soo realistic having seen a golden retreiver many years of my life.. simply unsurpased
well done again

Great detail on the coat - really very, very good. I would have added a small, white spot as a 'shine' in the eye though, to make it a bit more alive. But that fur... whoa..
Awesome.

beautiful details! Did you draw this dog while she was sitting there?! It must be so difficult to draw animals coz they move!

Detail. Gah. This is lovely. The perspective is a but funny, a little to exaggerated, but I think that adds to the charm of the pic.
How amusing. My name's Abby. Well, nickname, anyway.

*chuckles* Yes, the perspective is a little off, but only because my photo references were taken at a close angle, creating a fishlens-type effect. I still like it *chuckles* although I appreciate the critique.

wow that is very good. the thing i find most impressive is the detail in the dog's coat. i always find textured surfaces quite a challenge, but this looks excellent. i also love her* expression. well done.
*i assume with the name abby it's a female?.

i admire your work. Ya seem to have no problems with pencil ;p it`s also hard to draw animal. I tried to make portrait of my dog but it`s immposible to make her stand stil. Well..maybe one day

Thank you! Pencil is my strongest medium, although I'm not entirely terrible in PhotoShop. I can't get my dog to sit still either, so what I did was got someone to attract her attention while I snapped a few reference photos on my digital camera. If you have one, I highly suggest you try it out!
