I know of it but I've never actually read it. Hasn't that comic been going forever though? Am I really close to beating it on page count? Wow. O_O

It's a great comic and I mainly read it because I play D&D/Pathfinder and get most of the jokes regarding the gaming system. It only reached page 1000 recently and today's comic was #1007. It has been running longer than that count suggests, though, since Rich Burlew doesn't set a definite schedule and updates whenever the next comic is done.
Another difference, though is that he counts two-page updates as a single comic number, so the true number is probably higher. I do think you'll beat it by the end of the next year though by virtue of your keeping a regular update schedule.

I wonder if Emily's going to have enough time to explain to them what happened before Rain gets to school. Also wasn't that so convenient she gets there later then everyone else? I wonder if Emily and Rain planned it that way... like " I'll arrive at school really late so you have time to prepare them". Although I feel like we would've been shown that if it had happened.

Well, in fairness, Rain was trying to get out of going to school altogether. XD
Although Fara managed to convince her to go, she also mentions that they're behind schedule and Rain still hasn't even gotten dressed, let alone done her makeup or hair (and according to Maria on this page, Rain's still taking the time to text cryptic messages to her friends). It's very likely she won't get into school until classes have already started at this point. Maybe she'll even miss first period, but not because she planned to be late. She actually just wanted to play hooky.

I get the impression from Maria's face in the first two panels that she's still pretty distrustful of Emily and thinking she might have something to do with Rain's apparent distress. It's a nice touch that shows they still have a way to go before things are ok between them. Hopefully Maria sees that Emily's intentions are good with her trying to warn Rain's other friends about the events of the weekend

I can think of some reasons. It might fall off (especially in gym), it might not look like her hair, it could be uncomfortable to wear (itchy or hot)

That's actually a pretty common question. The meta answer is that that'd be way too easy. If she could just fix the problem immediately and with little to no issue, then what would even be the point of having Rain go through this at all?
On a more plot-relevant level, Fara's not particularly wealthy, and a quality wig isn't cheap. But beyond that, I do have a reason in mind for why Rain specifically doesn't want one. But she can bring that one up herself later.
