Description Oy... coloring is really starting to become such a drudgery. I like how the pencils, inks, and color came together on this page, but I feel like I could do so much better if I only knew what tricks other folks use to get such a nice, organic feel.

Anyhow, you may not share my colorist self-loathing, so let you have your piece! What's your favorite dialogue? Least favorite dialogue? What's your favorite panel? What's your least favorite panel?

Love seeing the full-body squat position of Amethyst, as well as the shoulder-side perspective focused on Ruby! I also enjoy how the central panel is effectively angled!

First and second panels are my favourites. Love the dialogue between Amy and Ruby in them. I'm hooked to your comic like a man on a bungee chord. I keep coming back for more! Expect some more fan art from me in the future as a little way to say thanks

Aha! I knew that guy was there just to get them on Lotus' trail. I like this page much more than the last one and I'll tell you why.

Panel 1. That is a challenging pose and you did it very well. Some things may be a little off but it looks very good and it dominating the panel is just fine. This is easily my favorite panel as it fits well and the pose is just very challenging and different as it implies she has already found and picked up the photo so you get more done with fewer panels.

Panel 2. Not much to say. A good shot of the back. Let's move on.

Panel 3. This is my second favorite panel as the angle is attractive as is the effortless connection of Ruby in the foreground, Amy in the middle and the good background. I maintain that the top panel is my favorite but I will say that I think this panel is the most pleasing artistically. The word balloons fit in very nicely as well.

Panel 4. A nice shot of Aqua coming in. I like the different species coming and going and seeing her in casual motion is nice as well.

Panel 5. Holy. Crap. That is a complex panel that would leave me exhausted. It's a monster. My only critique on this panel is that our labrat (intentional pun?) has a very thick neck which makes him look strong and muscular. You might think of giving him a thin neck unless that is what you are trying to achieve. Kudos on another of your excellent scenes.

Our story seemed to get a boost in this page that was set up by the last few. Our girls are very split up right now so I'm expecting it may take some time to bring them together. Take your time as I like the focus on each and learning more about them.

The first panel, particularly the pose, graciously came along well from its construction phases and could easily have outfoxed me... it was a challenging pose, but luck saw me through it! whew...

As for panel 3, I'm glad you like how it came out- it was the last to take shape, and I had a big, blank spot there on the layout to give you an idea of how perplexed I was as to what to put there. I thought it came out well, and your enjoyment of it relieves me somewhat.

As for the last panel, you're right- Slappy's neck does look a bit too thick. I think part of the problem is that I didn't think about where his collarbone was, so the lines indicating the tendons on his neck lead too far down, making his neck look both too long and too thick. He's your typical out of shape scientist, so I should be careful not to buff him up by accident.

Amy looks nice in the squat position especially in a low cut shirt. Ruby has a healthy dose of Texas tact I see.

Ruby is still fixated on rubber chickens I see.

And one hopes Aqua doesn't get too distracted with Slappy's ideas and forget to solve that puzzle she and Mendoza were assigned to remedy.

Fine images as always.

Oh, don't worry, even Slappy's farfetched idea has some bearing on the case, though you wouldn't think it from the start...
