Description
The Vucari were the first race I attempted to illustrate from the Realm of Sejhat, a sort of game concept and fantasy universe I've been working on for the last year or so.

Sejhat is a continent of four great nations in the midst of a tumultuous industrial revolution. It's also less of an attempt at Steampunk as an attempt to modernize and revolutionize common high fantasy themes.

The Vucari are a race of wolf humanoids who have toiled and bled to become the political nucleus of the Beastfolk Alliance, a tenuous union of the beast races formed to protect their people from aggressive neighbors.

In the courts of more 'civilized' nations, they are looked down upon as slavers and barbarians. To their beastfolk bretheren they are an unwelcome force of outsiders foisting progress upon them. Even so, one would be hard pressed to find more persistent people than the indefatigable Vucari.
