looks fantastic, I really like the layering of the rock to the left and the bright blue sky.

Thank you! I agree its beautiful!
We just passed through the badlands. I love it there but we are wanting a big city to see how things go selling prints. If we ever make it we can then consider somewhere like here. I would love to

We're in Winnipeg. We might have found a place. Find out tomorrow. I see there aren't a lot of homes available here so its been tough. Here the landlord chooses the tenant which I don't really like. We're used to the tenant doing the choosing. Not sure how fair this is but this city is growing fast and is Canada's fastest growing economy so they better soon start construction. I hope things change. We couldn't find what we were looking for at all and now will be lucky just to find a home. We're liking it here though. Nice people and seems like a nice clean town and the drivers seem somewhat respectful considering its a fairly large city. 750,000 or so.

oxalysa In reply to Joe-Lynn-Design [2011-08-07 14:28:14 +0000 UTC]

I hope you will find quickly however. You are in a camping ?
Here, it's the same, very difficult to find a home. We have to justify a job and pay two months of rent in advance, with guarantee.
It's cool that people and city are nice
Good luck for your search !

Joe-Lynn-Design In reply to oxalysa [2011-08-07 14:31:56 +0000 UTC]

We're in a motel. Actually it costs very little more than camping cause we are in town and if we were at a camping ground its a long travel into town and along with the inconveniences we thought it would just be better here

Yes we need to prove stability too. We're hoping we can pull it off using the business.

oxalysa In reply to Joe-Lynn-Design [2011-08-07 14:40:04 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it's easier to be in the town to find a home. I hope that everything will be OK

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Joe-Lynn-Design In reply to oxalysa [2011-08-07 15:33:24 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. We'll be OK I just hope we get this place or we'll need to start looking all over again and we didn't see much that appealed to us. The worst problem is it is all 1 year leases and I have never done that. Seems like a big commitment to me. It also keeps us from finding more what we are looking for.

Joe-Lynn-Design In reply to andrekosslick [2011-08-06 14:29:47 +0000 UTC]

Yes it does. I really love this. Its very hot and dry. This is the land of the dinosaurs in Canada. Its the largest dinosaur deposit in North America. The Red River once flowed through here and carved this beautiful landscape. Now its a small river but once was Huge! As they dig and escavate this land they discover so much. Its 1500 miles from the ocean yet there are so many signs of sea life here. Its pretty amazing. They have learned so much of the earth's history here!
