This is a small Metroid Prime pitch I sent to Marvel, it's in Portuguese obviously, so here's the translation:
"In the depths of space... Under de surface of the planet Zebes, I, Samus Aran fought the pirates of space!
Eventually I ended up destroying their operation, annihilating the parasites known as 'Metroids' and to end it all, I killed the Mother Brain.
But the pirates weren't finished yet."

Just in case no one pointed this out to you: Metroid Prime took place directly after the original Metroid game but before Metroid II.

I already knew that. I believe it was when I played metroid prime on game cube that I knew that.
This pitch is nothing more than a exercise of drawing a sequencial story in wich I just used Metroid as "background". So you don't need to be so literal about everything you see here.As you already noticed on another comment to page 9, I believe, I even used a part from Metroid prime 3 corruption because I thought it would serve well as a "boom" page since it was a full action packed scene.Even her spaceship is not the same as the one depicted in the first prime game.
Well maybe it was my own fault...shouldn't have called this Metroid Prime, maybe only metroid or whatnot.
Anyway thanks for the comment. It's nice to see such fervorous metroid fans!

It helps to have a best friend and neighbor who is/was pretty involved in sequence breaking and speed running.
And I apologize for that. I really should have checked the data that Corruption was released before making that comment. And the sequence comment was caused by some confusion as to how much of the back story or chronological order of Metroid, so I apologize.

looks awesome, but there's already a metroid prime comic. meh, one more can't hurt i guess xD also nice job mimicking the speech from the SSBB soundtrack.
