A very quick experiment comparing the free "LAMH preset for Warg " Eboshijaana shared in the DAZ forums (left) with the default mesh body hair that comes with "Warg HD for Daz Dog 8" (right). No post workNow I just need to figure out how to create something like this with the new strand based hair in the latest DAZ Studio Beta.

I'd say the one on the right is good for fur on the legs, and around the mouth.
The fur on the left is good for the tail, and body.
I'd use a bit of both.

The better looks are quite obvious. But I hope there will be better results for the mesh hair someday, too ...

This is just the mesh hair that comes with the model. I am sure they kept the poly count down so that it was usable for most people

That’s what I was thinking. It looks like the dog kinda has mange so it has bald spots and things like that.

The hair looks great, the eyes look wonky. They need some more detailed attention.

Thanks for the feedback, I just used the default eyes and I'll have to look into why they look wonky. Maybe it's the eye lights don't match the sunlight

That could totally be it. Can you get in close and build up the detail of the eyes? I understand digital art conceptually, I don't know how to work the program. The fur looks amazing. I have had some students that were wonderful with digital work and I was always amazed at the visual texture they could create. Keep rocking on!!!
