In the origional 80's MLP, there was a species of pony called "Sea Ponies". These ponies looked like giant seahorses, and were introduced in "Rescue from Midnight Castle". They sang the song "call upon the Sea Ponies" (can be found on youtube by following: [link] ) and the lines "SHOO BE DOO SHOOP SHOO BE DOO!SHOO BE DOO SHOOP SHOO BE DOO!" were prominent.
