I know, I know, I'm a Ducks fan. But I made this for my Dad for Fathers day. His team is the Sabres. He's been waiting for 30 years for them to win the Stanley cup. This is my way of saying "One day."
This took me an insane amount of time. But, I had to do Lord Stanley justice. I couldn't live with myself if I had done a horrible drawing of the trophy to end all trophies, the Stanley cup.Illustrator CS2
Time: 40+ Hours (At one point I lost feeling in my right hand from using the mouse for so long.
)P.S. This is that insane vector that I was talking about.

Ofcourse anything you spend 40+ hours on is going to look good, this is still phenomenal.

Thank you very much. Yeah, he liked it a lot. It actually started a tradition. On the way there, some FedEx guy must have dropped it down a flight of steps or something, because the frame was all messed up and the glass was broken. My Dad thought about reframing it, but then after discussion we decided that a banged up frame, best represents hockey. So now every year that the Sabres don't win the Stanley Cup he's going to carve a notch in to the frame using a knife.

I dunno, but after I finished it I kept breaking everything I saw in to sections of color. It was almost like an acid trip gone really really bad.

anyways dont worry about the color thing whenever i do something for a long time that kind of thing happens to me like when i get addicted to a puzzle (one of my more nerdy qualities) after i pull myself away i close my eyes and c puzzle pieces so i dont think its anything unusual
