Description
This is my new steady cam. I named her "The Raminator." My friend Ephriam built it for me for my short films and I painted the lettering on it. With it's black paint job, chrome lettering, & chrome weight it really does have a personality of it's own.

How does it work. Well, in the lower right corner of the picture you can see how I hold it. The thing on the bottom of it is a 2.5 lbs weight that I spray painted chrome. The weight hangs lower to the ground thus giving the device a lower center of gravity. Plus the fact that it's heavier kind of forces the camera man to operate it with care. It makes all moves smooth rather then jerky.

It's a really cool little device and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to spray paint it and make it more awesome. It started out as functional, now it's functional with attitude.
