Another commission for my buddy Phil Moyer.As I recall, this was of Kozue Kaori from Revolutionary Girl Utena dressed in colonial battle dress from Battlestar Galactica:TOS, superimposed over the image of the updated Galactica, flying in formation with a squadron of Mark II Vipers.
That's a veritech-style Viper in battloid ("Robot" for you laymen!
) mode, pictured right behind Kozue.Fan fiction folks. It's a long story.

Well disregarding the below critiques personally I really like this concept. This looks more like a genuine Anime/Manga version of BSG then the "Shades of New Caprica" manga that was made a few years back.
So in appreciation im givin ya one of my "El Cheapo" Llamas and a recommendation in TrekGalacticaCaprica group for this piece. I hope you can make more works based on this concept in the near future. Thanks!!

Sorry thats my fault the correct name of the Manga is Echoes of New Caprica and is published by Tokyopop. Here is the [link] . Unfortunately this was the best I could find.
Apparently not even Battlestar Wiki has a page for this manga. According to the link the manga (which is a standalone story) takes place in between the season 3 New Caprica story arc (during and after), however even the article agrees that the artwork in this isn't very well made.

Well drawn, but I hate the new BSG (though I do like the mechanical designs!), nor is there any love lost between me and Revolutionary Girl Utena. Still, this might be worth watching. xD

Now that you mention it, the choice of anime girl, also confuses me.
If one was to choose from the cast of Revolutinary Girl, I'd figure Utena herself would make for a more appropriate Viper driver. However, as long as it's not salacious, (And sometimes even when it is.

looks good. Different size of pen nib really make this pic has some depth. i may need to play around whith thickness as well.

Good thing to notice. Took me forever to realize that the differential in linewidth determined the relative depth of elements in a drawing.
Embarrassingly enough, I had to have it pointed out to me.
