Wow!! You've captured a facial expression and portrayed it very well! Awesome artwork (not to mention TV show)!

Thank you Ochobu, for your fine compliment. Yes indeed, M*A*S*H was an exceptionally great TV show, and Alan Alda is an excellent actor. I wish more TV shows today would hold my interest as long as M*A*S*H did. Most of them don't!! One that does however, is BLUE BLOODS. Tom Selleck is another fine actor. Possibly because the character Mr. Selleck plays on this show (Police Commissioner), handles problems a lot like he does in real life. The rest of the cast is great, also. I especially enjoy the family scenes around the dinner table. It brings an intimacy to the show, and helps the audience to better understand why the characters think and behave as they do. I love you chickadee avatar. Those perky, active little birds are one of my favorites.

I loved this show, as did my husband. Quite a few years ago as a birthday present, I gave Ed a book that was all about M*A*S*H . It has many photographs in it and tells about each show.

Thank you, Abysus. Oh I remember it all right! As young as you are dear, for you to be interested in this TV show means that your tastes are an exception to what interests most young people these days. It is refreshing to know that there are some of you out there.

Montana, for adding my graphite drawing of Alan Alda, aka "Hawkeye" to your favorites. My husband and I loved that show, also. Quite a few years ago I bought Ed a book about M*A*S*H. It contains many photos and lots of information about each show. The beauty of M*A*S*H was that although the setting was supposed to be a war zone, the show was never depressing. There was always plenty of humor. And the humor was clean humor, not the raunchy stuff that a lot of humor is now.

The book I gave my husband is titled: THE COMPLETE BOOK OF M*A*S*H, by Suzy Kalter. It was published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc.; 100 Fifth Avenue; New York, N.Y. 10011. It covers the eleven years (from 1972 to 1983) the show was on T, and contains more than 110 colored photos and even more photos in black and white. There is a brief writeup of each of the 251 shows. I could not find the year this book was published, but in the author's dedication to her paremts, the date 8 March 1984 is given. It is a large 10" x 12" coffee table size book. I do not remember what I paid for it, though, and the price is not on the books jacket. I hope this information will be helpful to you.

You are welcome. No problem. I thought you might need to know more than just the book's title and the author's name, so I gathered all of the information I could from the book. Amazon lists this book for sale.
