Description
I was looking forward to Fable 3, and then I heard it had elements designed to support the Kinect.F**k that.
There’s only a finite number of ways you can incorporate “prancing around your living room like a dick” into gameplay. None of which I wish to partake in.
I’m not investing in any kind of bandwagon-jumping motion-control peripheral and I’m sure as hell not paying the release price for a title that’s been forced to support it.

Kinect was technology meant for something a lot more useful than fucking gaming.

Fascinating as motion-sensors are to us techno-geeks, I agree that it shouldn't revolutionize gaming in it's current state...it was barely ready for commercial use and it isn't unheard of for people to get bad injuries while playing it.
My personal experience was jumping in Sonic Free Riders...with a ceiling only a few inches above my head...
I prefer handheld controllers, definitely. Especially ones that don't require you to spend who-knows-how-much on batteries...

I agree strongly with the message, but I also really like the character in it, as well. Not sure if that's intended to be an avatar or whatever of yourself or a friend, but I love it anyhow. It's awesome and hilariously badassed.

Kinect Dance Central is great! Other titles, not good enough yet. And yes, paying 55-70 € for a new game is foolish unless you get 50-100 hours of fun from it.

Fable 3 works perfectly well with the controller. Not once did I comes across a section that required using the Kinect.
Thank God for that.

That's amusing, referencing to Back to the Future part 2 to pick on the likes of Kinect.
How ironic that a control scheme like virtual reality gives you less control over a game than a controller. You can't even walk very far, unless it's on rails.

I'm not all that concerned. The NES had a gamepad and a metric ass-ton of peripherals and alternate controllers with limited usage. And how many of those kind of controllers do we still use today?
The gamepad. And occasionally the Zapper.

That age is coming, already phones have lost their dials, which prompts the question, what do we 'dial' with?
Now phones are losing their buttons, so 'jabbing' someone's telephone number is out, but that's okay since telephone numbers are now going to be history since everyone'll have skype or some other version of internet phoning.

Don´t worry Jack, there are several games that can't be played with that motion-control, just imagine a boy trying to fight like Akuma, Chun-Lee or Gile... with their special moves.

So... I thought this was just an amusing comic from JJ,,, and then the other day I was bored and flipping thru the tv channels and saw the two kids say this in "Back to the Future II" and got a damned good laugh out of it.

Seriously though, got Fable 3 O_O It's a bit longer than Fable 2 thank fudge XD It's absoolutely amazing though e o e My princess who is now QUEEN BAHAHAAHAAAAA is so freakin' hawt >_> She actually looks a bit like a geisha with the makeup and slothes I put on her XD But naw she's hawtcakes e _ e Her bewbs aren't big enough though for me.... Better if they were the size you draw them XDD
